Several people have asked what programs are good to use to keep
computers running and their information safe. Here are some FREE
programs that were originally posted on 06/28/12 and have proven to
be very useful:
Files that you wouldn't want to lose, family pictures perhaps,
when your computer dies (note 'when', not 'if') should be backed up
religiously to an external device, or perhaps to two devices. For

And for desktops – once a year open up the
tower and blow (DON'T VACUUM) out the dust. Do this twice a year if
your tower sits on the floor.
