Detachment 1106 USUALLY meets on the second Saturday of every month except December. Due to the social distancing reqirements put into place as a result of the covidvirus pandemic, the April, May and June meetings were held by means of teleconferencing. At the present time the plan is for the Detachment's July business meeting to be held at a new location, the American Legion Post 14 building at 1301 E. Greenville St. in Anderson.

The meeting will take place on Saturday, July 11th, at 9:00 a.m. It will be held on the bottom floor which means you should enter through the front door. HOWEVER, to be certain that the meeting date, place, time or means hasn't had to be changed, you might want to check this website a day or so before heading to the meeting.

We will have a social hour before the business meeting. Come in at 8:00 a.m. and have a cup of coffee. Commandant Jeremiah Palmer will be bringing in donuts.

Come get to know us. We do not recognize military rank. Whether you were a PFC or a General, no one cares and no one will know unless you care to tell them. We are just military veterans. You don't even have to be a Marine; we welcome veterans from the other military branches.
